Various churches and monasteries around Tbilisi:
Yes, on the left, that is a bundle of hooves hanging by string from a rusty hook in front of a meat shop. And yes, that is a plastic bag of entrails on the right. And yes, we were stopped in front of this shop because our marshrutka driver wanted to pick up a few things for dinner that night. The sign reads, "Meat. Cow. Pig's." Now I'm not sure about "Parshi" but Google Translate suggests both "shield" and "forcemeat", whatever that is, as possible English translations. So there you are.
Monastery. Forget the name, my bad.
GIANT Kavkasiuri Nagazi (I assume) shielding the monastery's Toyota/bee hive collection. Thing was scary.
Ertadsminda. (I think.)
The inside. Was promptly scolded by the priest and informed that one should not be taking pictures inside a church, thus the lack of any other inside pictures.
Doom brewing early in the day.
Mtskheta church, the biggest in Georgia.
Terrifyingly/awesome unsafe ancient stone bridge. And two views (out, down) from said bridge.
From the top.
Also, up.
Rkoni.
