I was just minding my own business, looking around on Youtube for videos to show one of my Civilization classes, when all of a sudden I noticed in the suggested videos column the link to Dogma (1/8). An hour and a half later I was happy to have been reminded that Kevin Smith, when focused and with the right script/cast, is truly an entertaining and insightful filmmaker. One of his most watchable films (after Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which is way more enjoyable than it really has any right to be), full of amazing cameos and performances and just perfect in its late 90's blend of sincerity, cynicism, sight gags and Janeane Garofalo.
