This was a pretty intensely indie little indie. It's about Ellen Page going from gothish street kid to member of a traveling co-op type community to a very
Animal Farm-esque commune. It was okay, but kind of predictable. Interesting to see: Jim Sturgess with an INTENSE unibrow, August Diehl (
Eine Frau en Berlin,
Inglourious Basterds) doing... uh... the German thing? The vagabond thing? I don't know. Doing something. This movie felt like a cautionary tale and a public service announcement at the same time. There were some nice performances though.
