Subjectively and objectively I would have to say that this is decidedly a good movie with strong performances, great writing, and an interesting story and yet I sat there for its entirety cringing, both unable to look away and wishing the whole ordeal was over already. Which I guess is not dissimilar to what real addiction might look and feel like. Good movie. Will not watch again.
