Budapest Orientation Week

From the plane, watching the sun rise after having watched it set several hours before.

Church. Very observant, I know. You're welcome!

 Parliament.
 View from my hostel window.

 Cheap Hungarian wine.

Palinka, the national liquor (I think that's what this was), with a cheap Hungarian wine back.

Beef knuckle goulash and boiled potatoes and cheap Hungarian wine. DELICIOUS.

Playing with toys in our methodology lesson!

Getting a photo while pretending to help prepare the paprika potatoes.

Then actually stirring the potatoes because I felt kind of bad for only pretending to for the photo.

From the trivia quiz. Round 4 asked us to identify Hungarian vocabulary from one of our "camp counselor's" (so to speak) favorite Hungarian songs. after a while we gave up and wrote the same word "vagyok" (I am) over and over, and then concluded with, "DEAR GOD WHY?" to which they responded with the catch phrase of the week, "Because you are in Hungary to SUFFER!!"

Heroe's Square (daylight):

Final dinner at Bagolyvar: Chicken Paprikash! And an overwhelmingly desserty dessert thing.

 Heroes' Square (nighttime):

 Posin'.

 Daniel, photobombing.

Last night out, with the lovely company of a friend of a friend's dog, Tupac:

Blurry last night out kinds of photos:

 Interesting bathroom decorations.

 Interesting car decorations.

 Interesting hostel decorations!

iPhone photoshoot, pretty professional quality if I do say so myself...

  (be a tiger!)

 (now you're swimming!)
