Vác (II), Lake Balaton (II)

Some extra photos from a nice afternoon spent in the town north of mine, Vác.
The Arc of Triumph was built for Empress Maria Theresia's visit in 1764. Behind it can be seen the utilitarian building and barbed wire fences of the Vac prison.

The far end of March 15 square and the Dominican Church.

I also visited Lake Balaton again, the weekend after my trip with 8c. It was bit more successful in that the weather was much warmer and less stormy. The lake was beautiful and it was nice to just relax for the afternoon. And some brave teachers even went swimming!

A co-teacher I will surely miss, Mr. Peter Teacher!

The restaurant where we ate lunch, and the nearby pond (?).

Chillin'.

Sun in the fun, y'all.
