For Jordan & Co.

In no particular order and of no particular relevance... El Capitol.
Kind of an interesting building.

From another angle.

I'm not going to explain this, because I think it's awesome without context.

Watching for the bats at dusk.

Sunrise on Lake Austin.

I don't know why, but I was really excited about Dutch Dan's Mexican cigarettes.

The Butts!!! I'm still six.

$7 meal. Yes.

The result of living out of my car since early July.

Metal band from Philadelphia playing at Headhunters!! I don't remember their name, just that I was so happy to see people from my 'hood.

I got cheeky with the cops.

I also got really excited about this bull-head sculpture. I'm six AND a nerd.

Bar ceiling.

Another bar's.... bar.

Tip jar at Headhunters.

I was bemused and eventually confounded by the pitchers of booze.

West 6th. Slow night.

I wanted to do this with all the states I drove through, but then I didn't think of it until Tennessee and then the sign for Arkansas was in the middle of the bridge crossing the Mississippi and then apparently Texarkana is like the border town between those two states so driving through that is actually crossing the state and how was I supposed to know that, why wouldn't you still put up a sign?! So yeah. This is the only one I got.

Some think I'm living in Austin now but I'm actually living in Blur City, USA.

So Coyote Ugly is actually kind of a tourist trap (doing a shot off of one of the bartenders will cost you $20. For a shot.) and also really degrading and embarassing for everyone but the drunkest dudes. This girl did play a mean fiddle though.

The hostel's dock.

View from hostel.

INSECTS OF DOOM.

Statue in D.C. Can't remember what country it was for now. Something in Eastern Europe, I believe.

POM!

Basically my entire life packed beautifully into Maude, with the help of Joanna's excellent organizational skills.
So yes. I have a place to live now. I move in on August 1st. Up next... the job hunt!
