Charming time-travel romantic dramedy. Rachel McAdams is seriously one of my favorites, and I'm excited for her to be in True Detective next season, and I want good things for her. I wish she could remove herself from the movie dream-girl role and branch out, although I will admit that Morning Glory is one of my go-to feel-good movies (Harrison who-gives-a-shit-in-movies, we miss you!!). Although at least there she's the lead with more going on than her boyfriend.
Anyway, this movie! Domnhall Gleeson (who plays a totally different character from the other roles I know him, the computer guy in Dredd and as one of Ron Weasley's older brothers in the Harry Potter movies) is good as the time-traveling lead, who discovers his powers by accident and learns how to wield them with the help of his dad (the powers run in their family). It's sweet and sad and funny.
