A pretty interesting and suitably thoughtful (for a comic book movie) character study until the third act goes full BIG ROBOT THING FIGHTS HERO!! EXPLOSIONS AND STUFF! But still a lot of interesting moments and enough mutants to make it fun. Plus the high-speed train fight might be on of my favorite of any X-Men movie. It was especially fun to see in the theaters.
