This was a schizophrenic mess. It was pretty at times and ugly at others, it was edited strangely, the soundtrack was basically cluttered with way too many attempts at catch classic pop/rock music moments. There were some decent performances, or at least the actors were game, but it still ends up being surprisingly boring or silly (and not in the way I think they wanted it to be silly).
Batfleck.
Hat tip to the classic Harley Quinn costume!
Oh, wow.
Morgan!
This seems excessive and the level of organization seems counter to the point of the joker's character.
Scott Eastwood is just as attractive as his father but 100% less charismatic.
Jai Courtney is not a particularly beloved actor among U.S. audiences due to his bland non-presence in the Die Hard, Terminator and Divergent series but I'll always have a soft spot for him from Spartacus (the Showtime series).
Awkward life story time.
One major complaint that I do have about comic book movies is when they don't really have endings, per se, but just set up the next film. The Marvel films are guilty of this to some extent but they at least manage to offer a bit more satisfactory conclusion than their DC counterparts.
