Eh, what can I say? Sometimes you spend the weekend watching the news about white nationalist/KKK/Nazi rallies in your home country and just want to watch something that cheers you up. And The Incredibles definitely still does that. It holds up really well, both in technology (it looks fantastic) and storytelling. The movie takes its time to get the characters right and by the time you get to the Big Loud Final Brawl™, even though it's Pixar/Disney and you know it's going to be a happy ending you're still invested.
