Watched: American Ultra

I can totally understand why this was not financially successful. It's too much of a blend of genres and ideas and I'm not sure that it fully explores any of the interesting concepts it introduces in a satisfying way. Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart had good chemistry, as they did in Adventureland, and there were fun roles for Connie Britton, Walter Goggins, Topher Grace (why does he keep randomly showing up in things? He is so distracting), Bill Pullman, and Tony Hale. It's not a bad movie and it's pretty entertaining, but I still found myself wishing it was... more, somehow. More fully realized, maybe.
